Todd James is a Post Production Executive, Director, and Producer
Todd worked on the HBO series Sesame Street, starting as Production Assistant, working his way up to Senior Director of Post Production. He also was the Post Producer on the HBO MAX series, The Not Too Late Show with Elmo, the animated series Esme and Roy, and Coming Together: Standing Up To Racism (which was the recipient of a NAMIC Award). Todd also served as a post consultant on the Apple TV series HELPSTERS, on boarding the post department, setting up the post workflow, from ingesting, editing, HDR creation, to final delivery.
In addition to working in live action, Todd worked as a Post Manger at Netflix, where he oversaw the post delivery of multiple of animated series such as StoryBots, Cocomelon, and Deepa and Anoop to name a few.
As a member of Sesame Workshop’s directing team he has directed multiple episodes of Sesame Street, The Not Too Late Show with Elmo, and digital content for Sesame Street’s YouTube page. His work has been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards for Directing, Producing. and Editing Supervision. He has also received two Producer’s Guild Awards. He claims New York and Atlanta as home, but currently lives in South Pasadena, CA with his wife and precocious daughter.
